How to tell my parents?

Basicaly, my dad wont take this well but I'm not certain about my mum, how do I tell them that I'm bisexual?

i think it kind of depends on how old you are. if you're younger they probably wont care a whole lot because they'll think of it as just a phase. so the sooner the better.

but if you think your mom will take it better i'd tell her first and THEN tell your dad.

I'd say you should talk to your mum about it first like mitni said. That way you both can talk about how to tell your dad. Do you have a good relationship with your dad? Have you ever talked to him about other stuff before like this before?

We have a good relationship, but he's a believer in no sex before marriage, not for homosexuals and stuff on those lines

I see. Well I would say you should still talk to your mum first and then you 2 decide how to tell your dad... Or if you want to tell him at all. He has to get with the times! Hardly no one stays a virgin before marriage. Even though 15 is extremely young. I don't know anyone that loses their virginity at that age where I'm from! (stay safe!) Do you and your mum have serious conversations very often? Like could you tell her in the morning over breakfast or when you're watching tv together without it being too weird?

then definitely talk to your mom. if you can tell her you've had sex already as a 15 year old then she wont be too shocked that you're bi. bisexuality is mostly a phase anyway, so she shouldnt be too threatened. every bi person i have ever known in my entire life (and there's a whole lot of em!) has turned out to be straight except for 1 that decided she's a lesbian... but she's also way weird so that may have something to do with it.

oh i know u probably dont care. but saying your bi to your parents is a lot more reassuring then flat out saying your a lesbian. bisexuality means curiosity because you're not committing to either a guy or a girl. u know? curiosity is good. hahaha

I told my mum, she wasn't as bad as I thought, she said she was proud that i told her, now to tackle my father.
