Me and my man..

My name is Maggie, his name is Stevan.
I am sixteen, he is twenty.
Everyone says we are too far apart in age and way to young.
We have been together for a little over six months.
I am completely in love with him, there is no doubt in my mind, and he feels the same.
But he has lied.
A few times.
Hidden things, and even though he has "come clean" I have some reservations on how much I believe.
And this isn't me bragging at all, but he is...extremely attractive.
Im not really used to dating...appealing men. I am more a personality kind of girl.
But he has both.
So therefore, there are always a bunch of girls trying to get with him, and I don't know how to handle that.
I hate admitting it, but I am an EXTREMELY jealous person, and it shows with these....stupid girls.
But I am in a completely different league. These girls are 18-22 years of age, I am just a stupid little girl compared to them.
He tells me I have nothing to worry about, but I have heard straight from him even about these other girls he had flirted with and even this girl he made out with when we were first together.
He told me not too long ago that he first got with me strictly for sex.
We havent ever even had sex, so he has stuck aroung a long time for someone who just wants sex.
He says that he is in love with me though, and that he has changed his mind, that he has changed compleltely.
But I loved him from the beginning, and it hurt to hear.
Im so confused.
My world is turning upside down because I want him to be my forever. I feel like he still is, I just cant...trust him. You know?
How do I handle this?
How do I show him that I do love him and wanna be with him, I just dont really trust him?
I feel so...stupid and bitchy when I say that I dont trust him or that I dont believe when he says something.
Is that normal?

girl. it is totally normal to be jealous. but what he did was CHEATING. i cant believe he made out with another girl when you first started dating! that is SO wrong! babe, i'm sorry and I know you dont want to hear this at all but you need to leave him. if he fools you once shame on him, fools you twice shame on you. and once they start they will NOT stop. soon he'll be 21 and going to bars with drunk girls and he'll be drunk and things happen. you do NOT want to hurt yourself that way. you need to get out of the relationship before you get totally hurt.

You know, I do hate hearing it, but I hear it alot.
And I have had the thought cross my mind, but what if he really has changed and I am just being paranoid. You know?

Really difficult one.
Basically a lot of guys (even the good looking ones).
Have a thing about younger girls.
Often it is a control thing.
If they've had a fair amount of experience.
They will know to be patient.
It is a game for them.
Whether Stevan is in this group, I've no idea.
But if you have this distrust going on.
It doesn't look good for the future.
Certainly don't have sex just to see if/how things change.
I know this probably isn't much help.
But it is all I can offer.

I've been in your situation before. I was 16 and my boyfriend was almost 20 and in college. It was just a bad bad deal. And ze is right. To them it's a game. They'll wait for you because you're young. But it's not going to stop them from doing other stuff. My exbf did the same thing to me. He went to parties and stuff because I couldn't go and he would cheat on me. All the time. And the sad part is I had to confront him about it. I stayed with him a little while longer even though he made out with this girl and did who knows what else (like they're actually going to tell you EVERYTHING that happened.... bs). And then I found out from his friend that he did it again with another girl!

What made me so mad is that his friends didnt even care! They thought it was fine he was cheating on me. It's like guy code or something. They wont tell if you dont want them to. It seriously made me HATE boys for the longest time... Sad

Anywayz. So after I found out that he did it again with another girl and probably more. I dumped his ass. I deserved better and you do too!! Ultimately it's your decision... But I really think this just sounds bad...

Ugh break up with him! cheating is so bad and there should be a no tolorance rule for that when you're in a relationships. He's done it once. It's like stealing. First you steal a pack of gum. Then you move on to a candy bar. Then you move on to other crap. Clothes. Etc.

i definitely know what you mean... but do you see yourself marrying this guy? you're only 16. you have your WHOLE life ahead of you. and if you DO marry this guy do you always want to think about how he cheated on you when you started dating. what will your kids think if they found out. i dont know, i always think about that stuff...

Just an update.
That post was so long ago.
Him and I have been together for one whole year.
We have had many many ups and downs.
We live together and we are very, very much still in love.
The issues we have had before, well they were before.
I am very happy to announce we will be getting married soon and it will be the happiest day of my life
